Becoming a Member

Organizations serving the I/DD community are invited to collaborate in the Intersect Network. The first step in joining the Network is by participating in any of the available Communities of Practices. For more information, visit our Communities of Practice page.

Membership in Intersect for Ability allows an organization to build collaborative relationships with multiple agencies, providing opportunities to develop innovative projects in response to the field’s current needs. The Intersect Council continuously discusses new areas of need within the industry and seeks collaboration to problem solve. The collaborative focuses its work on evidence-based practice and quality of life-enhancing interventions and programs.

The Benefits of Membership

Networking

By joining the Intersect Network, you will network and learn from peers at other agencies engaged in a common area of interest.

Collaboration

When you become a part of the Intersect Network, your organization has the opportunity to work with similar organizations to address shared challenges and create solutions that will benefit more individuals. Collaboration is key!

Professional Development

Joining the Intersect Network offers you the chance to develop your leadership skills through a variety of opportunities such as leading a CoP, working on projects with team members from other agencies, or becoming a trainer for a new leadership supervisor approach.
