American Counseling Association

The American Counseling Association is a not-for-profit, professional, and educational organization that is dedicated to the growth and enhancement of the counseling profession. Founded in 1952, the ACA is the world’s largest association exclusively representing professional counselors in various practice settings. This site provides access to a wide range of online courses designed to help mental health professionals earn continuing education credits. The ACA offers a Free CE and Featured CE each month! The Free CE is available to both ACA members and nonmembers; the Featured CE is available at discounted member and nonmember rates.

Continued offers online continuing education courses for therapists, with enrollment options for individuals or organizations. Summit Professional Education

Summit Professional Education is a national leader in continuing education for physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, early intervention professionals, educators, mental health providers, and more. Illinois Crisis Prevention Network (ICPN)

Illinois Crisis Prevention Network’s (ICPN) mission is to bridge the gap between crisis management and crisis prevention by providing support and stability for children and adults experiencing behavioral, mental health, or medical challenges so that they may live and flourish in their community. ICPN offers community-based services and support to those referred, their families, provider agencies, schools, places of employment, and community day service programs.

ICPN’s Support Services Teams (SST) assist on a statewide basis. The Illinois Department of Human Services, Division of Developmental Disabilities (DHS-DDD) generates referrals to ICPN to support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, many of whom are dually diagnosed with a mental illness and are experiencing complex behavioral or medical challenges. ICPN provides professional development via evidence-based and best-practice learning opportunities to families and agencies across Illinois. Their clinicians offer onsite and virtual community-based workshops that are open to all community members and free of charge. ICPN is an approved CEU provider for various specialties. ABA Midwest

ABAMidwest offers board-certified behavior analysts with extensive formal training and experience in applied behavior analysis (ABA) services for those with autism and other intellectual developmental delays. ABA Midwest Education, LTD is dedicated to providing quality individualized services to their patients, families, and professionals.

Anixter Center

Anixter Center offers various services, including daily support in both individual and group settings through its community mental health services and 40-hour DHS-approved QIDP training facilitated by Anixter Center instructors.

IARF

The Illinois Association of Rehabilitation Facilities has been the voice of human service organizations in government. IARF has worked to provide agencies with individual consultation on issues that affect them specifically, including Annual Frontline Supervisor Training and CEUs for QIDPs, Nursing Home Administrators, and Social Workers.

Association staff provide frequent legislative and policy updates that affect members and non-members alike. Webinars are available for member organizations, both live and on-demand. IARFuture Leadership Initiative helps grow the leaders of tomorrow. IARF hosts an annual conference and expo with a variety of educational sessions for all staff levels.
