National Association of Social Work
Founded in 1955, the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) is the world’s largest membership organization of professional social workers. NASW works to enhance its members’ professional growth and development, create and maintain professional standards, and advance sound social policies. NASW aims to promote the quality and effectiveness of social work practice in the United States, improve conditions of life in our democratic society using social work knowledge and skills, and help maintain and promote high standards for social work practice and preparation for practice.
NASW provides continuing education, professional development, and networking opportunities through in-person and online events and workshops. They offer multiple professional development programs and products such as credentials, education and training courses, newsletters, employment information, resources, and publications.
When participating in NASW professional development programs, members can receive free CEs and CEs at discounted rates to fill their licensing or credentialing requirements.
